Thanks to its skilful use of the local natural resources, especially the mineral waters and nearby peat deposits, Franzensbad has become a world-famous spa for treating female disorders, cardiovascular disease and problems with motor functions. The hotel offers a range of procedures such as carbonic baths, therapeutic exercises in the pool, mud packs, a variety of massages, electro-therapy using magnets and ultrasound, oxygen therapy, vitamin and gas injections as well as the traditional drinking cure with the hotel’s own spring water. All treatments are under the supervision of well-skilled physicians.

Food and beverages

The breakfast buffet is included in the price of accommodation. Halfboards or fullboards are also possible.

Area information

During the summer time the area plays host to live concerts. There are also theatre performances and concerts in the Theatre of Božena Němcová. Make guided sightseeing trips with a commentary about the city’s history and spa tradition. Take advantage of the foreign language library with internet access and gallery exhibitions.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
