Short description

The Alton hotel is located in the centre of Prague, some three minutes from Wenceslas square. It is only a short walk to the metro and the tram stops.
This historic building was built at the beginning of the last century.

The hotel has 28 rooms, the hotel reception is open 24 hours every day and we have a lift and a coffeeroom.

Food and beverages

Breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. till 10.30 a.m in the breakfast room of the hotel. Breakfast is a Swedish buffet.

Area information

The hotel is located in the historical centre of Prague, just 400 meters from the Wenceslas Square and 200 meters from the Miru Square, where you can also find a few traditional fairs ( Christmas, Easter, vintage ) during the year.

You will find many attractive sights throughout Prague.

Prague Castle (7km) - The largest medieval castle complex in Europe, this attraction comprises many sights including the impressive Saint Vitus Cathedral.

Old Town Square (2.5km) - Stroll through this popular area of Prague and the many streets which surround it. See the Astronomical Clock, plus shops and many places to eat and drink.

Tourists information

Arrival by car:
Enter Prague - Continue on "Kvetna street" for app. 5 km.
Just follow this street, even if the street names will change to "Nuselsky Most street" and later to "Legerova street".

Arrival by public transportation from the airport:
Airport bus 119 – subway A-line ( green ) Dejvicka terminal – change A-line to C-line ( red ) on Muzeum – C-line I.P.Pavlova get out, first exit on the right side, outside turn left – walk 15 meters, at the corner turn left again and after 20 meters you will see Hotel Alton.

Nearest subway: C line, "I.P.Pavlova", 50 metres from the hotel away.
Nearest train station: "Main station", two stops with underground line C from the hotel away.
Nearest tram station: "I.P.Pavlova" tram number 22, 23, 6, 10, 16, 4, 11 / 25 metres from the hotel away.
Nearest bus station: "Florenc", 3 stops with the underground line C

By plane:
Nearest airport: "Ruzyně"

One room is specially fitted for the handicapped persons.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 16.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
