Welcome at four star hotel located directly in the historical center, overlooking the "Royal Route". An ancient burgher house situated in the historical centre of the city, right on the "Royal Route" in close vicinity of the main entrance gate to Prague Castle. Restaurant facilities on the ground floor beneath Renaissance ceilings and on the basement beneath Gothic vaults. Hotel-type rooms on the higher floors where the authenticity of history is emphasized also by original period furniture.

Hotel information

The first written records of the house date back in the 15th century. Well preserved basement rooms are from the Gothic period. Renaissance style is manifested in the the painted beam ceilings while the entrance portal is the result of the Baroque reconstruction of the house.Later adaptations brought new architectural elements, among which are quite outstanding the classicist ones. The last reconstruction faithfully preserved the historical character of the building.

Our program of constant improvement means that most bedrooms have been beautifully refurbished to the highest world class standards, providing a graceful, yet homely ambience for you to relax. Subtle and interesting colour combinations, quality fabrics and fine furniture enhance the character of the rooms.

Views of the King's Road, Prague Castle or the serene Petrin Hill Orchards. Hand-painted Renaissance ceilings. Original period furniture, specially selected for each room. Parquet floors treated with ecologically safe lacquer.

Restaurant - when it's time to have dinner, our restaurant sets exemplary standards of excellent cuisine and service. A wide range of tempting dishes is prepared by our superior chefs in the tradition of the finest Czech or International cuisine and it is to ensure that you will enjoy the very best in taste and quality.

Tavern - whenever you become thirsty you can have a glass of wine or an original Czech Pilsner Beer in our tavern. Its interior is pleasant even in the hottest of days, thanks to the centuries old stone walls.

Bar - our bar located in an original 1350's limestone cellar is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. p.m. Come and choose from a wide variety of mixed drinks, or just have a good cup of coffee in this original Gothic setting.

City Transfer Direction:
By streetcar (Tramway): No. 12, 22 to "Malostranske namesti" stop.
By tube (Metro): Green line "A" to "Malostranska" station then one stop by tram 12, 22 to "Malostranske namesti.
Hotel can arrange for you taxi service for the transfer to the hotel from the airport and from the railway station.
