This art nouveau house is a national monument of culture and was built in 1913 in the historic centre of Prague, on the bank of the river Vltava, between the National Theatre and High Castle (Vysehrad). In the immediate neighbourhood are the tram and metro stations. Its location is ideal because of the easy access to historical monuments and cultural buildings in Prague. In front of the Hotel & Residence Standard is the only sand beach in Prague which also offers the possibility to fish.

The reception arranges sightseeing tours in Prague and excursions to several places with cultural monuments throughout the Czech Republic.
